I am so thankful for this past week of touring the southwest. I’ve been stretched and challenged. I am thankful for the excellent guidance through Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon, Arches National Parks, Monument Valley and more. What a privilege to behold these inexpressible beauties. Most of all, I’m thankful for being inspired, through these places, to worship God.

We have just completed the 7 day Grand Circle Tour, and I don’t believe we could have found a better way to visit the great national parks in the southwest. We felt so privileged to be with a small group (5) of very congenial people and to have an extraordinarily experienced, knowledgeable, gracious and sensitive guide. Our days were filled, not only with the typical sights at the various parks, but also with visits to other, little-known places of special interest or beauty. We also, very much appreciated our guide’s understanding of geologic features and theories of formation that run counter to standard geologic explanations and instead accord with the biblical account of the catastrophic flood and its likely consequences. Our thoughts were repeated turned to the greatness of our Creator God.
